Friday resulted in my first investment loss with options. One leg of my condor went against me on a news announcement with almost no chance of recovery. I ended up losing a bit more than my gains from last month.
The important thing about losses is to learn from them. The lesson here is to make sure you know the whole story about a stock before investing. I was unaware of the pending news release. Had I known about the situation I wouldn’t have opened the condor. In the future I will be more careful before opening a position.
On another note I have added some more photos to the gallery. I still have more to add but it’s a start.

My parents gave me a 0.45 wide angle lense for my camera for Christmas. Here are the first photos I took with it.

Polyphasic sleep has given me time to finally attend to some photoshoots I’ve had sitting around on my computer. These were taken on November 20, 2005 at Letchworth State Park here in New York. I added them to the Letchworth State Park section of the gallery.
Watch for more photos and entries soon. I may start posting even more frequently since I have more time.

Yesterday I uploaded some photo collections but didn’t post anything about them.
The Apt Series 1 - This was my first shoot with the camera. I pretty much took it out of the box and started shooting. The camera was on full auto for most of these pictures. I have a few more to upload to this section.
Car Show @ RIT - This was my first shoot on full manual. I was very happy with how it turned out.
Letchworth State Park - I’ve been to Letchworth State Park twice now, both times for Geocaching. The park is very scenic and I got some nice shots. I have more to upload from the second trip.
UE - MacFadden’s Castle on the Hill - This location was quite interesting. Multiple buildings, all in different states of disrepair. The main building was once a beautiful resort and is now on the verge of crumbling to dust.
